 November Class
« Thread Started on Oct 31, 2008, 7:53pm »

Since I volunteered to "teach" the November class, and tomorrow is the 1st of November, I figured I'd better log in (instead of lurking) and let you know, I'll be finishing up my sample work tomorro and then posting.

Stay tuned, ladies!!! Hope you like what I come up with!

I'm a day late, and a dollar short, but sometimes life gets in the way that way. My cousin called me early this morning to tell me that our grandmother was being admitted to the hospital. It appears she's had a stroke. She's talking fine and walking on her own, but she has been experiencing dizziness. She's 97, so EVERYTHING is serious.

Anyway, I'm not finished with my layout to show as an example, so I'm going to go ahead and give you the info. so you can start on yoru own

I was looking through the pics I took of the 1st & 2nd grade musical program from the previous week and some of the pics didn't turn out like I wanted them to. Then I thought of that new SB book about turning lemons into lemonade (can't think of the exact title). . .so without further ado. . .

"Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"

Dig through the bottom of your stash and pull out those not-so-perfect pics and "fancy 'em up"!!! You can use your computer (photo editing software) to doctor 'em up, make 'em artsy-fartsy. You can use some of your acrylic paints to get rid of annoying background noise. Maybe they're old heritage photos that have faded to that ugly green or brown--go ahead and make your color choices based on the pic "as is".

I can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
