since this is shop class, what better place to find inspiration than in a hardware store?
Your assignment this month is to use something in a layout, card (2 please), altered item, etc. that you would find in a hardward, home improvement store, etc. You do not have to buy anything. Go scour out the garage, you see something on the ground? pick it up and use it!
Some examples include washers, drywall tape (mesh), paint, staples, screws, bolts, masking tape... the list goes on. Need more inspiration? Hit your local hardware store and see what they have there. Think outside the box!
example to come shortly... give me some time

You could use the different colored electrical wiring. You might be able to use a hammer to pound out some textures with metal sheets.

here is my example from my blog: Week in the Life albumi ended up using a binder mechanism from another album and put it back into another album by using some screw attachments found at the hardware store. i also used a TON of staples for putting my memorbillia on the pages. If you look closely on day Saterday on my memorbillia page you will see my "parts bag" from the hardware too!
